Synthetic Absorbable Sutures for Cosmetic and General Surgery
Deknatel has created Bondek®, a braided synthetic absorbable suture made of 100% polyglycolic acid with a patented unique PolyglydTM coating, offering unsurpassed smoothness, lubricity and knotability. Polyglycolic acid breaks down evenly and predictably, reducing painful "spitting." The Polyglyd coating allows the suture to glide through tissue smoothly, reducing friction between the tissue and the suture to minimize tissue trauma.
Bondek® is available in a variety of suture/needle combinations, making it ideal for cosmetic and general closure usage.
